Description: The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Specific Quality of Life Instrument-Revised (ALSSQOL-R) is a 50 item instrument that measures overall quality of life (QOL) and six specific domains for individuals with ALS. Forty-six of the items are used in scoring, to arrive at an average total score and scores for each of the six domains. The ALSSQOL-R can be used in both research and clinical settings, and is useful as a screening tool in the clinical setting where time is a major limiting factor.
